Bring out your "Dead" — the walkers are crawling back to your gaming console of choice in no time at all.
It was reported recently that Telltale Games was planning a second season of their award-winning "Walking Dead" video game adaptation for a Fall 2014 release. But season two is coming much sooner than that, it turns out, as MTV Multiplayer points out this quote from Telltale:
Okay, this is exciting: the next entry in the "Batman: Arkham" video game series is set to drop later this year!
The news comes from Time Warner CFO John K. Martin, who said during a Warner Bros. earnings call, "And we also have a strong games release this year, which will include the next release in the Batman Arkham franchise." That's definitive enough for us, even if we know nothing about the plot or even the game's title.

Did you like that "Avengers" LEGO movie poster? There's more where that came from! Marvel has announced that a new "LEGO Marvel Super Heroes" game is on its way for a Fall 2013 release, assembling not just the mighty heroes you know from last summer's Marvel Studios epic, but plenty of other favorites from the House of Ideas — including Spider-Man, Wolverine and Deadpool.

It's hard surviving the zombie apocalypse without an assist from a certain sword-slinging hero — which is why the makers of "The Walking Dead: Assault" are adding Michonne to the mix.
An update for the "Walking Dead" iOS game debuts today (December 19), incuding the introduction of fan-favorite character Michonne. The update takes place today at 10 AM PST. Read on for the full details from Skybound Entertainment.
Lee Everett and young Clementine endured all sorts of horrors during their time in the zombie apocalypse, but it's all worth it, if only for one award: the title of Game of the Year during Spike's 2012 Video Game Awards.
Telltale's "The Walking Dead" adaptation took the top prize at the VGAs this year, beating out the likes of powerhouses like "Assassin's Creed III" and "Mass Effect 3." It took home three other prizes as well: Best Adapted Video Game, Best Performance by a Human Female (Melissa Hutchison as Clementine) and Best Downloadable Game. Still haven't played the "Walking Dead" game? Perhaps all of those accolades are enough to push you over the edge.

Skybound has launched "The Walking Dead: Assault," an iOS video game that tasks you with building a group of survivors based on your favorite characters — Rick, Shane, Lori, Carl, Andrea, Glenn, Carol and Sophia — and surviving the deadly world established by Robert Kirkman's comic book series.

Lee and Clementine are about to conclude their time in the zombie apocalypse, one way or another: the final installment of Telltale's "Walking Dead" video game series, titled "No Time Left," arrives next week.
MTV Multiplayer notes that the fifth episode will hit PS3 next Tuesday (November 20) and land on Mac, PC and other consoles on Wednesday (November 21). Lee's twisted journey is at its darkest moment yet going into this finale, and I'm at the edge of my seat waiting to close the adventure out — even if it's more than abundantly clear that the happiest possible outcome to this story is still going to involve a whole lot of tears.

"The Walking Dead" returns to AMC on Sunday, but that's not the only way to devour the dead this week. Robert Kirkman's new prose novel set in the "Walking Dead" universe, called "The Road to Woodbury," hits shelves on October 16. Before both of those events, though, gamers will get the chance to sink their teeth into the fourth episode of the "Walking Dead" video game series.
Telltale has announced that episode four of their "Walking Dead" game, titled "Around Every Corner," is landing on PSN tomorrow (October 9), and releasing wide on Wednesday (October 10). Just a few short days away from furthering the tormented travels of Lee Everett and Clementine!
Check out the "Around Every Corner" trailer below.
Lee Everett and his pint-sized companion Clementine have had a rough go of it running away from the flesh-eating undead crawling all over the American south — and before all is said and done, it's going to get a whole lot worse, if the new trailer for Telltale's fourth episode of "The Walking Dead," titled "Around Every Corner," is any indication. See the trailer below, thanks to MTV Multiplayer.
"Around Every Corner" is slated to launch later this month.
A few cool "Walking Dead" tidbits to kick off your Wednesday. Up first, there's word that AMC has already quietly announced that the zombie survival horror series will be back for a fourth season; the news comes from a contest the network is hosting on its website, where the winner will earn a visit to the set of season four. Sounds like confirmation to us!
Sticking with the number four, the fourth episode of the "Walking Dead" video games from Telltale has a tentative release date of this October. IGN has the news on that, saying that the episode, titled "Around Every Corner," will launch "very soon this October," according to the folks at Telltale themselves.
