It's finally here — your first official look at "Kick-Ass 2" has arrived!
MTV News has debuted the "Kick-Ass 2" red-band trailer, your first extended look at the superhero flick directed by Jeff Wadlow and produced by Matthew Vaughn. Based on the comic book penned by Mark Millar and illustrated by John Romita Jr., "Kick-Ass 2" continues the story of Dave Lizewski, your every day comic book nerd who just so happens to fight crime on the side. Aaron Taylor Johnson, Chloë Grace Moretz and Christopher Mintz-Plasse are all back for the sequel, followed by a bunch of newcomers including Jim Carrey as Colonel Stars and Stripes.

Gwen Stacy has enough to worry about in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" with the Osborns involved. (Stay away from bridges, Gwen!) But to make matters worse, she has a romantic rival to compete with in the form of Mary Jane Watson, played in the sequel by Shailene Woodley.
Emma Stone and Woodley have been spotted shooting in New York City over the past couple of weeks. And just this week, a video taken from the set has hit the web, showing off what looks to be one of the first meetings between Gwen and MJ in the film.

If you're on the edge of your seat waiting for more "Guardians of the Galaxy" goodness, then this one's for you: MTV Geek has a brand-new interview with the folks at Marvel Comics responsible for the relaunch of the "Guardians" comic books, from Brian Michael Bendis and Steve McNiven.
"Tonally, Brian is making sure that our book fits in with the movie, the way our 'Avengers' books fit into the 'Avengers' movie," explains editor Steve Wacker.

Two "Walking Dead" quickies this morning: up first is the news that last Sunday's midseason premiere shattered ratings records and ranked as the AMC zombie drama's all-time highest-viewed episode to date. Over 12 million viewers tuned in. We repeat: over twelve million. They weren't kidding about the outbreak spreading fast!
Meanwhile, if you're one of the few who missed out on your weekly dose of braaaains on Sunday, AMC has posted the full episode online for your convenience. Watch the episode below.
Two Dixons are better than one — or at least that's what badass brothers Merle and Daryl are hoping as they set off on their own into the great unknown of the "Walking Dead" universe.
Norman Reedus and Michael Rooker are at the heart of a brand-new clip from next week's "Walking Dead" episode, titled "Home." It shows what's happened to their characters since the climactic events of the midseason premiere. Beyond that, telling anything would be telling too much.

Chris Pratt is Star-Lord. This is excellent news. If you're not sure why this is excellent news, then clearly you don't know Andy Dwyer. Dwyer is Pratt's character on "Parks & Recreation," arguably the best sitcom on network television at the moment; he's a big-hearted buffoon with a flair for the theatrics, a passion for music, and lots of love for his wife April and the rest of his friends.
There are plenty of reasons outside of "Parks & Rec" that Pratt is the perfect choice to lead "Guardians of the Galaxy." ** But even if were looking only at Pratt's actions in Pawnee, Indiana, we could still explain why he's the right man to defend the "Galaxy."
So, assuming Star-Lord will take his cues from Andy Dwyer — and really, why shouldn't he? — here are 10 reasons why Pratt will absolutely own "Guardians of the Galaxy."
It's far too early to see too much of "S.H.I.E.L.D." ... but it's never too early when you're Agent M.
Marvel.com's Ryan Penagos, better known by his Twitter handle @AgentM, was on the set of "S.H.I.E.L.D." earlier in the year, chatting with the cast and crew responsible for bringing the Marvel Cinematic Universe to the small-screen. Penagos has been posting video blogs from his time on the set, and the latest entry offers a very quick look at the set itself.

The Man of Steel battles General Zod on the big-screen this summer, but that's not the only fight Superman has to look forward to in 2013. He'll also go up against the brilliantly bad Brainiac in "Superman: Unbound," the DC Universe Animated Original Movie featuring "White Collar" actor (and former Superman contender) Matt Bomer as the voice of Kal-El.
The movie arrives on May 4, and ahead of that, you can watch the trailer right here, courtesy of our friends at MTV Geek.
If you missed the Super Bowl, chances are you missed the "Iron Man 3" Super Bowl commercial. Look no further than right here to see what you missed: a massive aerial action scene featuring Tony flying to the rescue of a crashing Air Force One. The extended version of the spot can be viewed here.
