Kick-Ass

It's finally here — your first official look at "Kick-Ass 2" has arrived!

MTV News has debuted the "Kick-Ass 2" red-band trailer, your first extended look at the superhero flick directed by Jeff Wadlow and produced by Matthew Vaughn. Based on the comic book penned by Mark Millar and illustrated by John Romita Jr., "Kick-Ass 2" continues the story of Dave Lizewski, your every day comic book nerd who just so happens to fight crime on the side. Aaron Taylor Johnson, Chloƫ Grace Moretz and Christopher Mintz-Plasse are all back for the sequel, followed by a bunch of newcomers including Jim Carrey as Colonel Stars and Stripes.

Click on to see the "Kick-Ass 2" red-band trailer and the official one-sheet. Needless to say, the trailer is not safe for work, so proceed with caution!

Emma Stone

Gwen Stacy has enough to worry about in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" with the Osborns involved. (Stay away from bridges, Gwen!) But to make matters worse, she has a romantic rival to compete with in the form of Mary Jane Watson, played in the sequel by Shailene Woodley.

Emma Stone and Woodley have been spotted shooting in New York City over the past couple of weeks. And just this week, a video taken from the set has hit the web, showing off what looks to be one of the first meetings between Gwen and MJ in the film.

Chris Pratt

Chris Pratt is Star-Lord. This is excellent news. If you're not sure why this is excellent news, then clearly you don't know Andy Dwyer. Dwyer is Pratt's character on "Parks & Recreation," arguably the best sitcom on network television at the moment; he's a big-hearted buffoon with a flair for the theatrics, a passion for music, and lots of love for his wife April and the rest of his friends.

There are plenty of reasons outside of "Parks & Rec" that Pratt is the perfect choice to lead "Guardians of the Galaxy." ** But even if were looking only at Pratt's actions in Pawnee, Indiana, we could still explain why he's the right man to defend the "Galaxy."

So, assuming Star-Lord will take his cues from Andy Dwyer — and really, why shouldn't he? — here are 10 reasons why Pratt will absolutely own "Guardians of the Galaxy."

The Man of Steel battles General Zod on the big-screen this summer, but that's not the only fight Superman has to look forward to in 2013. He'll also go up against the brilliantly bad Brainiac in "Superman: Unbound," the DC Universe Animated Original Movie featuring "White Collar" actor (and former Superman contender) Matt Bomer as the voice of Kal-El.

The movie arrives on May 4, and ahead of that, you can watch the trailer right here, courtesy of our friends at MTV Geek.
