We've seen a lot of Wolverine slashing through trains and bad guys a lot this year, thanks to the abundance of clips and trailers for "The Wolverine. But all of that is fiction! What if Logan - and more importantly, those claws - were real?

Master swordsmith Tony Swatton took it upon himself to create a pair of ultra authentic - and ultra deadly - Wolverine claws for his "Man at Arms" show on the Awe Me YouTube channel. While the majority of the video is a highly informative guide to making real world analogues of the iconic adamantium claws, the last minute unleashes them on everything from milk cartons and watermelons to a Blu-ray copy of "X-Men Origins: Wolverine." It's awesome, which is exactly what the YouTube channel's name promises.

Check out the video below, and of course... don't try any of this at home.

Deadpool X-Force

by Brett White

Fans have been eagerly waiting for Ryan Reynolds to reprise his role as the popular character Deadpool ever since the character's appearance in 2009's "X-Men Origins: Wolverine." But even with test footage shot, a script ready to go and an eager director, the film just can't get off the ground.

Enter: "X-Force."

The action-oriented X-Team has a much-talked about film in development, with "Kick-Ass 2" writer/director Jeff Wadlow signed on to write it. Deadpool debuted in one of the final issues of the proto-"X-Force" series, "New Mutants," and went on to antagonize the team during their first year of stories. The character finally because a member of one iteration of the team, starting with 2010's "Uncanny X-Force."

Thanks to those ties, it's entirely likely that Deadpool could be a shoe-in for the film. MTV's Josh Horowitz got the chance to ask Ryan Reynolds about his possible role in "X-Force" and got... well, he got a response, definitely. Check it out after the jump.

With the supernatural buddy cop film "R.I.P.D." hitting theaters this Friday, now's the perfect time to take a look at some behind-the-scenes action. This new - and exclusive - featurette shows the hard work that went into splatting actress Marissa Miller against a bus' windshield.

Miller portrays officer Roy Pulsipher's avatar, marking the first - and most likely last - time that Jeff Bridges will share a role with a former Victoria's Secret model. As "R.I.P.D." actor Kevin Bacon explains in the featurette, avatars are how undead R.I.P.D. officers appear to the living while conducting investigations on Earth. Rookie officer Ryan Reynolds gets a Chinese man, veteran Jeff Bridges gets a model.

For more info on the latest Dark Horse Comics property to hit the big screen, and interviews with Jeff Bridges, Kevin Bacon, and Marissa Miller, check out "R.I.P.D. On The Set: Don't Tense Up" below!

"R.I.P.D." opens in theaters on July 19th.

While talking to Digital Spy, director Edgar Wright delivered some of the best news Ant-Man fans have heard all year: the script is finished. The film, starring Marvel's size-changing Avenger, has been in the works longer than the Marvel Cinematic Universe has existed, and is scheduled for release on November 6th, 2015. With his last collaboration with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, "The World's End," wrapped, Wright revealed he could now focus on getting "Ant-Man" off the ground.

"The script is all done," Wright told Digital Spy. "I actually put 'Ant-Man' on the back burner to make ['The World's End'] for a number of reasons, some of them quite personal. We had to do ['The World's End'] now, it's really important. [The people at Marvel] were really good in terms of, like, 'Well, we'll see you in two years.'"

You can check out the rest of the interview - and Wright other reasons for post-poning "Ant-Man" - below. But now, after years of waiting, it looks like Hank Pym and/or Scott Lang will finally get some attention.

If the previous "R.I.P.D." trailers have left you as cold as the undead, then give this one a shot. Not only does it include a Macklemore and Ryan Lewis song that you might not be sick of yet, but it contains a number of special effects filled action scenes that look pretty impressive. And when this trailer isn't throwing Jeff Bridges and cars around with great abandon, it's moving along at a brisk pace with back-and-forth dialogue.

"R.I.P.D." follows newly-deceased cop Ryan Reynolds as he partners up with what seems like a blustery Rooster Cogburn, played by Bridges, as part of the Rest In Peace Department. The film, based on the Dark Horse Comics limited series of the same name, opens on July 19th.

"Fruitvale Station" actor Michael B. Jordan has been pegged as the leading candidate to play Johnny Storm in the "Fantastic Four" reboot. Since the rumor got out, Jordan has been very vocal about his interest in playing the Human Torch. Helping the rumors along is the fact that the reboot is in the hands of "Chronicle" director Josh Trank, who just so happens to be one of Jordan's close friends.

MTV News' Josh Horowitz sat down with Jordan and tried to get the latest dirt on the superhero film. "Everybody knows that me and Josh are really good friends," Jordan said in the exclusive interview. "From 'Chronicle' we kind of grew together and he became one of my best friends."

In addition to being best buds with the director, playing a superhero is an idea that excites Jordan. "I'm a comic book guy. I definitely geek out over that stuff, so if the opportunity came about, if he came to me and said, 'Hey Michael, I want you to do this,' I wouldn't even think twice about it."

But how does he feel about donning the FF's blue spandex? Check out the entire interview below to find out!

If you woke up this morning with a desire to see more clips and featurettes from "The Wolverine," then you are in luck! And I'm also shocked that the ton of clips and featurettes that have already been released haven't satisfied you. When will your madness end, imaginary person?!

So yeah, if the featurettes about Yukio, Harada and Logan didn't satisfy you, and if the fight clips on board a train and at a funeral left you wanting more, then here's more.

The latest featurette focuses on the deadly Viper, played by Svetlana Khodchenkova. The video shows off the villainess' snakey powers, all of which were created specifically for the movie.

Oldboy

by Brett White

This has been a big week for Spike Lee's manga adaptation "Oldboy." First the film released its stunning first poster, and now it has an extremely NSFW Red Band trailer that pretty much holds nothing back.

Fans of the original manga or the 2003 South Korean film should note that this film looks to be faithful to the source material, right down to the protagonist's weapon of choice. Due to the high-levels of holy-crap-they-showed-that violence, the trailer has been hidden after the jump. Take it, if you dare!

Everyone knows Wolverine is going to kick major ass in his next solo film, as evidenced by the train fight and funeral fight clips that have already been released. But Hugh Jackman's Logan won't be the only one throwing down in "The Wolverine." As evidenced by two new featurettes, Rila Fukushima's Yukio and Will Yun Lee's Harada are two people you shouldn't mess with.

The first featurette comes courtesy of IGN and shows never before seen footage featuring Yukio, a character that seems destined to be the breakout star of the film (similar to Faora in "Man of Steel").

"Physically, her abilities are amazing," says Jackman in the clip. "She's going to really excite people when they see her."

Grand Ward

We already know all about Agent Phil Coulson — well, except for how he's still alive, that is — so it's time to meet some of his fellow "S.H.I.E.L.D." agents.

A brand new featurette for Marvel's upcoming TV show has gone online, focusing entirely on Agent Grant Ward, a new S.H.I.E.L.D. agent created for the series and played by Brett Dalton.

"Agent Ward is a black-ops specialist," says Dalton. "Anything that involves reconnaissance skills of a military nature, he's brilliant at — he's just not so great at the people skills."
