Hulk Banner

Mondo, the poster boutique at Austin's Alamo Drafthouse, has continued their series of prints for "Marvel's The Avengers." Last week, they debuted posters for Hawkeye and Black Widow that literally sold out in two minutes.

Today, the masters of graphic design bring us looks at the four main Avengers: Hulk, Iron Man, Thor and Captain America, and they are, as expected, very cool.

There are supposed to be two more posters in the series, so check back here for any updates.

Spider-Man

by Ryan Rigley

Good news, superhero fans! As if a movie featuring Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and the Hulk wasn’t enough, Marc Webb confirmed on "Attack of the Show" (via Superhero Hype) that there will be a new “Amazing Spider-Man” trailer attached to the release of “The Avengers” next Friday. This, of course, comes hot off the heels of the reveal that the new “Dark Knight Rises” trailer will be premiering before the film as well.

Iron Man 3

There have been a whole lot of "Iron Man 3" stories on casting recently, and not that much news on the plot front. At yesterday's Disney panel at CinemaCon, director Shane Black shed a little bit of light on what we can expect from the upcoming Marvel flick.

During a sizzle reel presented at the panel, Black called the movie a "technological thriller" and a "crisis movie" set in the world of "international war, arms and terror." He added that the villains in the flick will "put Tony Stark through the wringer" as they explore the trials of being Tony Stark, according to ComingSoon.net. Black didn't elaborate on the villain situation -- Aldrich Killian and Maya Hansen and the Mandarin, oh my! -- but he did say that the big bad in "Iron Man 3" will "frighten in today's world."

Agent Coulson

by Ryan Rigley

Since his first appearance in 2008, Agent Coulson has become a sort of unsung hero of the Marvel movie universe. His increasingly prominent roles in “Iron Man,” “Iron Man 2,” “Thor,” and now “The Avengers” have continued to expand on the character, not to mention the several Marvel-produced short films in which Coulson is the protagonist.

In a recent interview with Tavis Smiley on PBS, Clark Gregg (who plays Agent Coulson) discussed in great detail what it was like to be on the set of this summer’s most anticipated superhero movie. He also brought along a new clip featuring his character and Steve Rogers (a.k.a. Captain America), played by Chris Evans. See it after the jump!

Bad guys beware! The greatest comic ever written (by a 5 year old) is coming to Fox's "Animation Domination," a Saturday late-night animation block slated to begin early next year. Already acquiring the rights to "Axe Cop," Fox plans on ordering six 15-minute episodes of the series which will run both on air and online, reports Variety.

"Axe Cop" is the brain-child of two brothers: Malachai Nicolle, who was just 5 years old when the series began, and Ethan Nicolle, who was 29. The series revolves around a cop (with an axe) and his many exceptionally bizarre companions as they fight "bad guys" and save the world. These companions include, but are not limited to, Flute Cop, Ghost Cop, Telescope Gun Cop, Uni-Baby, Uni-Man, Baby Man, and Wexter, a flying dinosaur with machine gun arms.

Spider-Man

Paul Feig understands teenagers. This is something that has become a well-known fact ever since his cult TV show "Freaks and Geeks" launched its first and only season back in 1999. The "Bridesmaids" director understands the teenage psyche and what makes them tick, though it's a topic we haven't seen him revisit much in recent years.

Fortunately, that's about to change. In an interview with Vulture at the Tribeca Film Festival, the New York Magazine entertainment website asked Feig which summer movie he is most excited for. It turns out that it's "The Amazing Spider-Man," since he was asked to come in and help write one of the scenes.

Tony Stark is headed to China in "Iron Man 3," and he's going to have a huge Chinese star to help him get there.

It's become clear that a good portion of Marvel's first post-"The Avengers" movie is going to take place across the Pacific Ocean, especially since Disney is co-producing the flick with Chinese backers. Thus it should come as no surprise that they're trying to get a big Chinese actor on board to help the flick appeal to a wider Asian audience. NeonPunch (via Twitch) is reporting that that man could be Andy Lau.

A "Fantastic Four" reboot is something Fox has been working on for years, but the project has never quite made it off the ground. Recent rumors pegged "Chronicle's" Josh Trank as Fox's first choice to helm the flick, though it appears he may have passed in order to adapt "Red Star" instead.

The movie hasn't had much luck since it was announced several years back, but at least one actor has kept the film on his mind. When Nick Offerman dropped by the podcast "WTF with Marc Maron," he admitted that he still holds a grudge for not being cast as the Thing the first time Fox made the flick, and we can't help hoping he'd be up for starring as him during a second go-around.

Long ago, in the before time, I put forth five names to replace Ben Affleck as Matt Murdock in a "Daredevil" movie. Fast-forward two years and two months later and, yes, we have a director, but we still do not have a Man Without Fear.

Recently, David Slade said that there is no "Daredevil" update at the moment, with progress moving slowly on the loose adaptation of Frank Miller's "Born Again" arc. To do our small part in speeding things along, I thought we should revisit the idea of casting Murdock for the "Daredevil" reboot. Mostly new names this time around, with one of the old guys hanging on because he's still my personal favorite.

Read on for "Daredevil" casting suggestions, round two!

Armie HammerArmie Hammer
He's 6'5", 220 pounds, and even if there aren't two of him, one will do the trick. Years ago, I was one of those people moaning about some shmohawk kid named Armie Hammer playing Bruce Wayne in a "Justice League" movie. Today, I know I'm not alone in thinking he'd be great for that role. I think he'd be equally great, if not better, as Daredevil: tall and imposing with a voice and presence demanding attention, Hammer's Man Without Fear is a man who could seriously kick your ass. Plus, based on "Social Network" alone, you know he'd rock Murdock's lawyer gear with ease.
