'Arrow': New Clip Shows The Queens Before Shipwreck

As anyone who watches the CW's "Arrow" could tell you, the series is chock full of flashbacks to Oliver Queen's time stranded on the island of Lian Yu. Therefore, it's no surprise to see that this sneak peak from tonight's episode of "Arrow" is indeed another flashback.

However, unlike all of the other island flashbacks that we've seen this season, this particular flashback takes place before Robert Queen and his son have set sail on the Queen's Gambit. Hell, it even takes place before the boat crashes! Check out the clip below.

Kevin Feige Reveals How 'Iron Man 3' Avoids Threequel Syndrome

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was on hand Tuesday night at Entertainment Weekly's screening of "Iron Man 3," part of their inaugural CapeTown Film Festival at Hollywood's Egyptian Theatre. Following the film screening, Feige took part in a Q&A session wherein the Marvel mastermind opened up about a wide range of topics. The big question of the evening, and of the entire week as "Iron Man 3's" Friday opening draws near, was just exactly how Feige made sure that the Iron Man threequel would not fail creatively like so many super-threequels before it.

"This is Marvel Studios' first Part Three," said Feige. "It's my first Part Three as a solo producer. But I've been a part of other Part Threes that I don’t think people [consider] tremendous successes. There, I witnessed what I thought were pitfalls we should avoid. And one of them was not taking a risk to do something different, to take a chance with the formula. Hiring ['Iron Man 3' director] Shane Black was a big part of that."

'Man Of Steel' Exclusive Interview: How Michael Shannon Became General Zod

"Man of Steel's" Michael Shannon is shaping up to become the breakout star of the summer. His shouting General Zod has to be one of the highlights of a trailer filled with highlights, and he's even become an internet sensation thanks to his dramatic reading of an incredibly NSFW sorority letter for Funny or Die. With a lead role in this summer's Superman film, Shannon's poised to join the bad guy big leagues. But just how did Shannon land the role of General Zod?

"I got a phone call," Shannon tells MTV News' Josh Horowitz. "They said 'Zack Snyder wants you to play General Zod in 'Man of Steel.' I'm like, 'I don't believe you.'" To find out more about the phone call that created Zod, check out the full interview below.

'X-Men: Days Of Future Past': Wolverine's Back In Action

Director Bryan Singer has provided fans with another sneak peek at one of the many mutant stars of next summer's "X-Men: Days of Future Past." This time Singer has turned his Twitter spotlight to Hugh Jackman's Wolverine... well, more like Wolverine's back.

In the latest Tweet from the director, Wolverine's back can be seen during a fitting. It looks like the actor has even ditched his classic black leather look for one closer to the character's original "Days of Future Past" look. That means out with the black leather and in with the brown. Check out the full tweet and photo below.

'Iron Man 3': Don Cheadle Reveals The Downside To Being An Iron Man

You can tell just by looking at the Iron Man armors that they aren't the most comfortable things to wear. They're big, bulky and because of the name "Iron Man," it can't really be made out of a real breathable or flexible material. Don Cheadle gave MTV News the lowdown on suiting up as James Rhodes for "Iron Man 3," even detailing a few of the nuisances that come with playing Tony Stark's best friend.

"Guys, you didn't get this more refined?," says Cheadle, recalling what he said upon wearing his new armor. "It still weights this much? I still can't articulate the arms and touch my face?" The actor goes on to discuss Gwyneth Paltrow's role in the film and how Rhodes and Tony Stark relate to each other in the new film.

Of particular note this week: celebrate the release of "Iron Man 3" by hopping on board a new story arc in "Iron Man" by Kieron Gillen and Dale Eaglesham, get caught up on Superman's New 52 origin with the "Superman and the Men of Steel" trade paperback and continue to learn Thanos' origin with "Thanos Rising" #2.

The "Amazing Spider-Man 2" crew have been busy over the last few days, with their shooting schedule taking them through seemingly corporate boardrooms of vague ownership and out onto the streets of Manhattan (or rather their elaborate recreation, located outside of New York City). Director Marc Webb has been documenting the proceedings via his Twitter feed, at times being augmented by onlookers capturing set videos. Rumor: Is Allison Williams Joining The Fantastic Four?

Deadline has a hunch that "Girls" actress Allison Williams is on the short list for the upcoming "Fantastic Four." The site notes that very early talks have begun and... that's really all the news. But any news about this film is news considering how close the new FF film is to its start date (June 17th!) and how there have yet to be any casting announcements (but a few rumors). Actual human beings need to show up on set when the film starts shooting in just over six weeks.

Marvel's 'Infinity' Event Gets Movie Poster-Treatment

This fall's big Marvel Comics event, titled "Infinity," just got a new variant cover. MTV Geek astutely points out that it might as well be a teaser poster for "Avengers 2," what with the cover's cinematic flair and inclusion of a few of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's biggest players. The event will pit the heroes of Earth (including the Avengers) against an unrevealed antagonist with Thanos and Black Bolt in the mix as well. The synopsis is appropriately epic and can be read in full over at MTV Geek. The variant cover by artist Marko Djurdjevic looks as much like a classic film poster as it does a comic book cover, placing Movie-Vengers like Thor, Captain America and the Hulk front and center underneath the looming menace of Thanos.

Ben Kingsley Talks 'Iron Man 3's' Tender Side

Casting Sir Ben Kingsley as Iron Man's greatest foe, the Mandarin, added a much-desired level of gravitas to "Iron Man 3." You want someone capable of going head-to-head against Robert Downey Jr. in the first Marvel film after last summer's "The Avengers"? You go with an Oscar winner. Kingsley talked to MTV News about what attracted him to the film, mentioning that the beautifully written script helped convince him to play in the Marvel Universe.

"The rhythm and twists and turns of the writing and how it alternates high action and peril against vulnerability and sweetness, and tenderness, I think is brilliant."
