Brad PittRemember when Warner Bros. announced their plans for a big screen adaptation of Hiroshi Sakurazaka's "All You Need Is Kill?" A lot of folks were pretty psyched about it, including our illustrious Movies Blog and Splash Page editor, whose excitement over the title alone is worth revisiting here.

Now there is yet another reason to jump aboard the "Kill" bandwagon: Brad Pitt might sign on to star in it.

NemesisLast month, Mark Millar announced that "Top Gun" director Tony Scott had signed on to direct an adaptation of Millar and Steve McNiven's "Nemesis." And while the film is still in very early pre-production, Scott is already pursuing some A-list actors according to Millar.

"I just got a call from [Scott], literally about a month ago," said Millar during an appearance on the Richard Bacon radio show (via Bleeding Cool). "It was one of those very surreal things. This is a $150 million budget… He said 'Who do you fancy for it?' I said 'I dunno, Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp.' So he said 'That’s good, we’ll give them a call.'"

Millar also offered an update on the potential "Kick-Ass 2" film and reiterated that the sequel has a greenlight. Read More...

Zombie Survival Guide: Recorded Attacks"World War Z" isn't the only zombie story from author Max Brooks headed for the big screen — both "The Zombie Survival Guide" and "The Zombie Survival Guide: Recorded Attacks" graphic novel have also been optioned for adaptation.

While chatting up Brooks at the Avatar Press booth, the writer confirmed to MTV News that the adaption of his novel about the zombie apocalypse is not only moving forward, but Brad Pitt is now officially attached to star in the film. Additionally, Brooks revealed that Paramount has optioned the movie rights to "Zombie Survival Guide" and "Recorded Attacks."
