Torchwood Miracle DayWant to get comic book creators talking on Twitter? Well, starting a hash tag like #replaceawordinafamousquotewithduck is a great place to start. The feed has been loaded with movie quotes tweaked to reference ducks for the last 24 hours, and Simon Spurrier and Brandon Jerwa contributed two of our favorite entries.

Gail Simone got into the creative spirit as well. Whereas some complainers online just whine, waiting for a new iPad 3 announcement. She apparently decided to make her own. Find out how, see who's psyched for "Torchwood: Miracle Day," and see what Bryan Lee O'Malley would call a Scott Pilgrim book based on his life after the jump.

Portal 2You could pretty much spot the exact moment when most of the Twitter users in our feed finished downloading "Portal 2" today. A few tweets complaining about long download times popped up, but the consensus among those who've squeezed in a few minutes with Valve's new sequel thus far seems to be positive.

In other discussions, Gabriel Hardman and Andy Kuhn broached the topic of creepy commissioned art requests. Being an in-demand artist comes with its blessings and curses, and the piece Kuhn described definitely fell into the latter category. Find out what that was about down below, along with Bryan Lee O'Malley's birthday note to Edgar Wright and who's picking up bees at the post office.

Doctor WhoSome bloggers have been hoping to see or hear Michael Clarke Duncan step into the role of Kilowog in "Green Lantern" for a long time now. He's reportedly down now, however—and there was much rejoicing.

In other celebratory posts, Kieron Gillen reluctantly praised Hugh Grant—I'm assuming because he's in the news for reverse snooping on the press. "Game of Thrones," meanwhile, remains a much less controversial topic. Everyone's stokes about that. Check out what Jonathan Hickman won't let come between him and the new HBO show and how Brian Lynch would handle a "Scream 4"-style situation after the jump.

NamorGail Simone's been plotting her approach to writing for the Marvel Universe one character at a time this week. Recently, she's sounded off about Thor and Wolverine, and today she questioned why Namor's smell doesn't play a more prominent role in his stories.

Bryan Lee O'Malley, meanwhile, would like someone to map out the X-Mansion in a clear way, and Chris Eliopoulos tried to assess Bristol Palin's income in easy-to-understand terms. Find out what he thinks after the jump, along with what David Mack's been watching while working on a Captain America cover.

David TennantIt's always refreshing to wake up on April Fools' Day and see that there are other people out there who dread having to figure out which breaking news stories are real and which are fakes. If the rumor about David Tennant and Georgia Moffet's new child is true, though, we wish them all the best.

Also, Google's prank of the day almost makes the Internet bearable, and if you're a font lover who hasn't done a search for Helvetica yet, you should get on that posthaste. Click on down to see who's been trying to circulate their own April Fools' joke in the Twittersphere, what Chris Weston said about the new "Justice League" movie casting news and how seeing "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" on TV makes Bryan Lee O'Malley feel.

Evangelion 2.22Twitter rumors got a little out of control this week as people started thinking that Jackie Chan had died. Evan Dorkin joined the collective sigh of relief, however, when everyone started verifying that "Spy Next Door" and "Rush Hour" star was still alive and well.

Elsewhere, the "Sucker Punch" tweets still haven't subsided, but "Evangelion 2.2" attracted more reactions in this morning's feed. Both Bryan Lee O'Malley and David Willis shared their feelings on the franchise's latest update, and you'll find them retweeted down below along with Brian Reed's hopes for "Mad Men" Season 5 and a dream tweet from Matt Fraction.

RIP Elizabeth TaylorFilm icon Elizabeth Taylor's death hit Twitter hard this morning, and "Cleopatra" fans in the comics world paid their respects in posts. Rags Morales and Greg Pak took to their accounts to share memories, while Alex Irvine brought up the "Asterix" volume she inspired and Paul Southworth worried about what's going on with Bubbles.

In other topics, Bryan Lee O'Malley appeared to have an epiphany about Craig Thompson's upcoming graphic novel "Habibi." Someone else expressed a much less coherent opinion about protests going on around the world recently, and Gail Simone made quite a pitch for a new DC series.

Julie TaymorThe iPad 2 won't go on sale until Friday, but Edgar Wright thinks he may have a long shot at snagging a free one, and he's not too proud to publicly tweet about it. Whether or not "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" earns him a new Apple tablet, it did receive a big compliment from Mike Allred yesterday, even as Bryan Lee O'Malley was joking around about Vol. 7 titles.

Julie Taymor's departure from "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" has been big news this morning as well. Find out how that relates to today's Charlie Sheen joke and see if you agree with skepticism about the demise of Cap'n Crunch below.

Pokemon Black and WhiteIf you've experienced conflict while choosing between "Pokémon Black" and "Pokémon White" recently, you are not alone. Bryan Lee O'Malley's been struggling with the decision and invoking Michael Jackson.

Meanwhile in Illinois, the death penalty is a hot topic today. Chris Burnham weighed in on how he believes the punishment should be applied. His anger, along with some rad Gabriel Hardman artwork, a story of Lent sacrifice, and info on what they talk about around the Marvel offices made the tweet highlight reel after the jump.

Diane LaneThe big casting announcement of the week thus far has been Diane Lane as Martha Kent in Zack Snyder's "Superman" reboot. Unsurprisingly, DC's big tweeters, Geoff Johns and Jim Lee came out in support of her. Mark Waid expressed a bit of anxiety, though.

Paul Dini, meanwhile, was torn over how to feel about a "Justice League Unlimited" Batman figure he discovered. His thoughts on Wonder Pig, as well as an epic tale of Craigslist quest, Mark Millar's anti-Christian Bale criticism and Bryan Lee O'Malley on creating new characters await you after the jump.
