Christopher Meloni Joins 'Man Of Steel' Superman Reboot

Christopher MeloniThe cast of "Man Of Steel," Zack Snyder's upcoming reboot of the Superman film franchise, has been filling out quite nicely in recent weeks, with another well-known actor joining the production this weekend.

As first reported by Deadline, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" actor Christopher Meloni will join the "Man Of Steel" cast in an unspecified role. While the initial report simply indicated that he would play a "major role" in the film, Meloni later told Vulture that he will play a general in the military and dismissed rumors that he would become the new face of Superman's arch enemy, Lex Luthor. SECRET IDENTITY: Who Should Play The Punisher For Marvel Studios?

Worry not, Punisher fans — Frank Castle has come home.

Announced at the Marvel Studios panel at Comic-Con, the rights for the Punisher have returned to Marvel, allowing the studio to put their character back on the big or small screen in anyway that they see fit. It's excellent news for Castle fans who feel the character hasn't gotten the proper live-action treatment he deserves. With Marvel back at the helm, it's a sure bet that Punisher is going to head back to theaters with a vengeance sometime in the near future.

SECRET IDENTITY: Five Actors Who Could Play Lobo

Lobo"Sherlock Holmes" director Guy Ritchie is putting down the pipe and picking up the cigar for "Lobo," the upcoming adaptation of the popular DC Comics antihero produced by Warner Bros. Hot on the heels of directing "Iron Man" actor Robert Downey Jr., Ritchie seems to have developed the urge to dive into the comic book movie bin himself—but first, he'll need a leading man.

Casting Lobo is tricky, especially given the WB's description of the character as "a seven-foot tall, blue-skinned, indestructible and heavily muscled antihero." Even if enhanced effects are necessary in creating Lobo's onscreen persona, the character needs a tested actor underneath the make-up... and these five men could very well do the trick. Read More...
