"Punisher: War Zone" edges ever closer to its December 5 release, and now, just a few days after the last "Punisher" preview hit the 'Net, Lionsgate has released another behind-the-scenes featurette -- this time, focusing on the film's stitched-up villain, Jigsaw.

IGN has the video in both standard and high-definition versions, which provide an up-close (maybe too close, depending on your taste) look at Dominic West getting into costume -- and into action -- as mob boss Billy Russoti, who ends up on the wrong end of a glass-crushing machine during an encounter with the Punisher, but survives to become the horribly disfigured villain known as Jigsaw.

Looking forward to "Punisher: War Zone"? What do you think about Dominic West as Jigsaw, Punisher faithful?

In anticipation for next month's theatrical release, Lionsgate has unveiled its third TV trailer for "Punisher: War Zone," and just in case you were concerned that the film's gonna be light on the gun play and explosions, the latest TV spot should put those fears to rest.

In the new ad, fans get to see the film's two stars -- Ray Stevenson in the title role and Dominic "McNulty from 'The Wire'" West as the disfigured and bat-crap-crazy Jigsaw -- doing what they do best: resolving their differences in extremely violent fashion. And a special mention for whoever did the make-up for Jigsaw -- not only does the character look appropriately grotesque, but you can't even tell we're looking at West. See for yourself below...

Also, be sure to check out the official "Punisher: War Zone" website which has been updated with new pics from the film and also a link for a mash-up contest where fans can enter for a chance to win an Xbox Arcade and "Gears of War 2." "Punisher: War Zone" hits theaters on December 5.

Dominic West as Jigsaw in 'Punisher: War Zone'"Punisher: War Zone" is inching ever closer to its December 5 release, so that means bits and pieces of the film are starting to hit the 'Net a little more often these days. When it comes to the latest element of "Punisher" promotion to hit the grid, "bits and pieces" seems an especially appropriate term, as we get our first peek at the stitched-up villain of the film, Jigsaw.

Playing the pieced-together villain is actor Dominic West, who seems barely recognizable behind the stitches and staples holding his character's face together. In the "Punisher" comic book series, Jigsaw is one of the Marvel vigilante's few recurring enemies, as most of the villains who cross his path tend to end up on the wrong end of bullet or, as the comics-version of Jigsaw discovered, a plate glass window.
