Female Force: Angelina JolieBluewater comics' line of "Female Force" unauthorized biography comics have already chronicled the lives and careers of Oprah Winfrey, Ellen Degeneres, Hillary Clinton, as well as authors like J.K. Rowling ("Harry Potter") and Stephenie Meyer ("Twilight") — so where do they turn next? Apparently, the answer is mega-star Angelina Jolie.

Promising to "fill in the blanks surrounding Jolie's life," the 32-page comic hits shelves in January and takes a slightly different approach to telling its subject's tale. According to Bluewater, the comic will explore Jolie's life through the perspective of several aid volunteers in Haiti.

Anne Rice comicBack in April, we told you about Bluewater Productions' plan to make "Vampire Chronicles" author Anne Rice the next subject of their "Female Force" line of biography comics. Today, we have a five-page preview of the comic, which hits shelves in July.

"Female Force: Anne Rice" promises to follow the author "from her formative years in her beloved New Orleans through the tragedies that influenced the creation of her most popular novels and her fervent rediscovery of Catholicism."

Female Force: Anne RiceFrom "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer to comedian Ellen DeGeneres, Bluewater Productions' line of "Female Force" biography comics has covered a wide range of pop-culture personalities, and now we have your first look at the next subject in their popular series: best-selling author Anne Rice.

One of the most widely read authors in the world, Rice is best-known for her "Vampire Chronicles" series — specifically, "Interview with the Vampire," her first novel. Scheduled for release in June, "Female Force: Anne Rice" promises to follow the author "from her formative years in her beloved New Orleans through the tragedies that influenced the creation of her most popular novels and her fervent rediscovery of Catholicism."

charlaine Harris - True BloodIt's a big week for "True Blood" author Charlaine Harris in the comics world, with an announcement earlier this week that her popular Harper Connelly series was receiving a comic book adaptation. Now, we bring you the exclusive news that Harris will be the next subject of Bluewater Productions' "Female Force" comic book biographies.

Hitting shelves in May, "Female Force: Charlaine Harris" promises to explore the author's career "from the publication of the lighthearted Aurora Teargarden mysteries to the phenomenon of her vampire-infused Sookie Stackhouse stories." And unlike previous "Female Force" books, Bluewater reports that Harris took an active role in the development of the comic, discussing her career with the comic's writer, Kim Sherman (who also authored the publisher's "Fame: Robert Pattinson" bio).

Ellen DeGeneresLast month, we gave you the first look at "Female Force: Ellen DeGeneres," the latest in Bluewater Productions' line of comic-book biographies of famous women. Back then, we only had unlettered, black-and-white pages from the comic, but now we have an exclusive, finished preview of the issue hitting shelves in March.

The comic promises to follow the entertainer "from her youth in Louisiana, through the endless smoke-filled comedy club circuit, to her breakthrough sitcom and finally as an Emmy-winning daytime talk show host." Written by Sandra C. Ruckdeschel with art by Pedro Ponzo, "Female Force: Ellen DeGeneres" will feature many of the touchstone moments from her career — including her recent addition to the "American Idol" judging panel.

The publisher has also informed MTV News that a portion of the proceeds from the comic will be donated to The Humane Society in DeGeneres' name. Read More...

Female Force: Stephenie MeyerLast week, we gave you the first look inside "Female Force: Stephenie Meyer," the comic book biography of "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer. Now, we have another exclusive peek at the comic—but this time, we're bringing you a brand new cover image.

Back when the project was first announced, we told you that publisher Bluewater Productions was planning to release it in two versions: a standard-size comic and a limited-edition, 32-page version featuring an illustrated history of Forks, Washington, the town where "Twilight" takes place. Now, to go along with their special cover only available at Forks retailer Dazzled By Twilight, Bluewater has told MTV News that another Forks-based shop, 98331 Gear, will be carrying the book—complete with a brand new cover exclusive to that shop.
