V For VendettaSimon Pegg tweeted an impassioned appreciation for "V for Vendetta" today in honor of Guy Fawkes Day, proving that he has not forgotten the 5th November. Also not forgetting were Jill Thompson, Neil Kleid and a few other I couldn't fit in.

Jon Favreau, it seems, didn't have time to commemorate anything last night, as he was hard at work editing "Iron Man 2." If he was following Joe Quesada or Matt Fraction, however, he probably kept up on the game's details just fine. Scope out all of those posts below, along with a new Jim Lee page and Geoff Johns' mystery project that he wants to work with Greg Rucka on.

Scott PilgrimIf you're looking for any pointers on "Scott Pilgrim" character costumes for Halloween this year, Bryan Lee O'Malley spotted a couple of prime Ramona Flowers and Kim Pine examples on Flickr. They're mighty impressive. Also on the costume front, Geoff Johns continued his "Smallville" updates with a vote of confidence in Doctor Fate's look for the show, which he calls "beyond accurate."

In off-set Twitter commentary of the last 24 hours, Scott Kurtz took notice of John Cassaday's directorial gig on "Dollhouse," which he expressed some bittersweet anticipation for. Check out what they had to say, along with Chris Ryall on 30 Days of Night: Dark Days, and a free 44-page He-Man-inspired comic by Tim Seeley.

Smallville - TwitterGeoff Johns opened up with some episode titles and director info for his two-part "Smallville" story that's coming up, and Tom Welling will direct the second part, titled "Legends," according to those tweets. Johns said he has the utmost confidence that Hawkman, Dr. Fate and Stargirl will be treated with respect.

Todd Nauck, meanwhile, showed some tweet respect to Johns, dedicating a Slurpee pic to him. You can find that, along with Chip Zdarsky's Astro Boy artwork, Edgar Wright's evaluation of "The Vampire's Assistant" and Mark Waid's post from Singapore.

The Losers"Smallville" will be getting a new injection of cast members with Stargirl, Hawkman and Doctor Fate joining the show, and Geoff Johns tweeted a few details last night that viewers will want to know—like whether Hawkman will have wings and how he and Green Arrow will get along.

Elsewhere, dedicated tweeter Andy Diggle slipped Jock a link to the artist's newly released "Losers" poster and Brian Keene pondered a pitch for Batman's pet, Ace the Bat-Hound.

Read on to check out each of those tweets, along with what Matt Fraction thinks Tony Stark should carry with him in case of near death. It's all in the Twitter Report for October 20, 2009. Read more...

Scott PilgrimBryan Lee O'Malley says that the "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" video game won't be out until next summer, but he's been playing an early build in Montreal this week that's got someone special involved behind the scenes.

Also working behind this scenes this week is Brian Michael Bendis, whose cryptic tweets from Marvel's "Avengers" retreat continue. Find out what he had to say, as well as Erik Larsen's thoughts on Captain Lou Albano's death and Idris Elba's unearthed first "Losers" comic book appearance.

TwitterLike all lovers of "The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!" Ivan Brandon led a procession of tweets regarding the death of Captain Lou Albano this morning. Nevertheless, the mustachioed wrestler and actor will be fondly remembered across the Twittersphere today no matter how events unfold.

Greg Rucka, meanwhile, just wanted to get on a plane yesterday, but was a apparently too excitable for the airline he was flying. Check out what both of those writers had to say, along with wisdom from Stan Lee, a great Halloween costume for the young ones and Avengers cupcakes from the folks at Marvel.

Robin - TwitterI'm not sure what sparked the wave of "Doctor Who" thoughts on Twitter today, but both James Robinson and Eric Trautman got a bad taste in their mouths, and Tom Brevoort had nothing but praise for the show's new logo.

Elsewhere, Lee Grabett posted a peek at his rendition of Batman and Robin from "Batgirl" #5, which is starting to verge on Frank Quitely. You can read what they all had to tweet below while you also find out what excites Brian Michael Bendis about Baltimore, which tweets lost a few followers for Marc Bernardin and what Geoff Johns thinks of Francis Manapul's Flash.

The Losers - TwitterEarlier reports that "The Losers" has wrapped filming in Puerto Rico seem to be confirmed by Idris Elba's tweets over the weekend. He and both the Vertigo book's creators, Andy Diggle and Jock, exchanged celebratory posts upon his return to New York.

Other faces in the comic book industry were tweeting from Long Beach Comic Con, such Geoff Johns, who picked up some "Blackest Night" fan art you can scope out in his link. Take a peek below, where you will also find Chis Ryall's review of the Long Beach show, Edgar Wright on Monty Python's 40th anniversary and wisdom from Gail Simone.

Iron Man 2Stan Lee and Twitter belong together like Dazzler and Longshot, and he continues to make use of his newfound Internet podium with great proposals. For instance, he called upon his followers last night to launch a letter-writing campaign to get him into the next Batman movie. That's probably going to take a lot of mail.

Jon Favreau, meanwhile, arrived home safely from his press junket in Bora Bora to resume editing on "Iron Man 2," which Stan didn't need to solicit write-in votes to appear in. You can find out what they had to say below, along with who Geoff Johns introduced to "Guitar Hero," which recently arrested director angers Phil Hester, and the best reason yet that Archaia should solicit a "Dark Crystal" cover from Ben Templesmith next year.

Titan MaximumAll-star chance run-ins on Twitter abounded this weekend. The first occurred when Geoff Johns and a handful of other comics notables descended on the premiere party for Adult Swim's "Titan Maximum." Lando Calrissian himself was there, and the "Blackest Night" scribe got a personal introduction. Todd Nauck was also in attendance and tweeted a link to a T-shirt design he did for the new show.

In other face-to-face encounters news, Andy Diggle and Jock concluded their "Losers" set visit (filming has now wrapped, by the way), and their flight home to the U.K. was shared with Simon Pegg. This is extra coincidental, since Diggle tweeted Jock on his flight from the U.K. to see if he was on the same flight as Pegg.
