And the posters for "Thor: The Dark World" keep a'coming. Last week we wrote about the new character poster for Thor's new arch-rival Malekith the Accursed (played by Christopher Eccleston) in addition to a poster that put Chris Hemsworth's Thor front and center alongside Natalie Portman's Jane Foster (check them out here). Now a character poster for Tom Hiddleston's beloved trickster god Loki has been revealed, and if you've been on Tumblr, odds are you've seen it already.
This is because the Internet loves Loki, and craves Loki, and will will more Loki into existence! Or, you know, Loki's an important part of "The Dark World" so he gets a character poster. Take your pick! You can check out the full poster after the jump, but be sure to place it in proper Loki context by checking out these GIFs and the latest "Thor: The Dark World" trailer.

There's no denying it—people just can't get enough of the God of Mischief. Although Tom Hiddleston's Loki was arguably one of the best parts of "Marvel's the Avengers," apparently the Asgardian trickster will not be appearing in the highly-anticipated "Avengers" sequel, "Avengers: Age of Ultron." "I don't think there's anything else Loki could contribute to 'The Avengers,' narratively," stated Hiddleston in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "Joss gave me so many wonderful things to do in that first film that we'd only be trying to repeat ourselves and probably less well in the second one."
With Loki out of the picture for the "Avengers" sequel, audiences will just have to get their Loki-fill from "Thor: The Dark World" when it opens on November 8th. However, Loki's popularity with the Marvel fanbase could indicate that the mischievous magician will be popping up elsewhere in the Marvel Cinematic Universe! Here are five places where Loki could pop up next.
Loki of Asgard unburdened his glorious purpose at Comic-Con over the weekend — and you have Kevin Feige to thank for that.
Tom Hiddleston spoke with Hero Complex about appearing onstage as his "Thor: The Dark World" character during the film's Hall H presentation, saying it was all Feige's idea: "He sort of said, 'How about you just come in character and you don't break character at all and you introduce the footage? Give a whole kind of encore to the two films?'"
That's exactly what happened, and the crowd went wild. Hiddleston had a little bit of fun, too.

When you're lucky enough to have Hot Toys make a figure bearing your likeness, you'll apparently take any opportunity to pose with it. We previously saw Clark Gregg meeting his Agent Coulson figure. Now, Hot Toys brings us pics of Loki meeting Loki.
Tom Hiddleston took some time while on the set of "Thor: The Dark World" to pose with his Loki figure, showing off just how accurately Hot Toys recreated the god of mischief's armor from "Marvel's the Avengers." But the photos, which you can check out below the jump, have us wondering if Loki's keeping the same look for the Thor sequel. He's wearing his old "Avengers" costume, which implies that he won't be getting a new look like his brother. Or maybe they just had the old suit around on set and utilized it for this photo op?
Hopefully Marvel Studios will stop releasing stills of creeptacular elves and give us a better look at Loki.
Loki fans, time to break out your sad-faces: the Asgardian Trickster God won't be coming back for "The Avengers 2."
Director Joss Whedon broke the news while speaking with Empire recently, stating that he's not aiming to chase the same successes of his first record-breaking "Avengers" film while developing the upcoming sequel. Tom Hiddleston's fan-favorite villain is a casualty in that regard.

MTV News caught up with Tom Hiddleston as the actor made his way to the MTV Movie Awards, where he would go on to win the Golden Bucket for Best Villain.
The actor, famous for playing Loki in both "Thor" and "Marvel's the Avengers," touched on a wide range of topics. There's one question that's been burning inside the brains of every Loki fan for at least a year now: does Hiddleston ever rock a Loki t-shirt?
"I think I did when 'Avengers' came out as sort of a joke," the actor reveals. "But I tend to... not so much," the actor added, before letting out that fan-favorite chuckle of his.

Look out, MTV Movie Awards, because the bad guys are coming! The five vile nominees for Best Villain all dove to new depths of treachery, proving that the best characters are the ones that we love to hate.
Of course three of the five nominees come from superhero films, proving that a hero is only as good as his villain. And boy oh boy, did these three do some damage. The dastardly duo from "The Dark Knight Rises," Miranda Tate (a.k.a. Talia Al Ghul) and Bane, brought Gotham City to its knees through extreme acts of urban warfare. Bane himself physically broke the Batman, a feat never accomplished in film. Over on the Marvel side of things, only one villain proved a big enough threat to warrant the response of six superheroes: Loki, the God of Mischief. Loki's scheming threatened to tear apart the Avengers, and his army of Chitauri aliens made a mess out of Manhattan.
To prepare you for this Sunday's MTV Movie Awards, here are clips showcasing each supervillain at their most evil. Don't forget to vote for your favorite and tune in to the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, Sunday April 14th at 9 p.m.
We have a feeling our #ProjectWendy friends will be excited about this news: Tom Hiddleston has won the honor of Total Film's Sexiest Actor Right Now.
"It's insane. It basically doesn't make any sense," the actor told the magazine about winning the title. "I suppose my question is: Are you sure? If you are sure, then I am very flattered. VERY. Thank you, ladies. You are women of impeccable taste and style. My god, you know how to make a man feel good."
The "Avengers" star went on to talk about what makes his Marvel villain, the tricky Asgardian Loki, a sexy character.
Tom Hiddleston ranked as one of our Heroes of the Year due to his work as Loki in "Marvel's The Avengers." But will he get that same honor in 2015, when Joss Whedon's "Avengers" sequel hits theaters? It doesn't look likely.
Speaking with MSN, Hiddleston confessed that he's not sure about whether or not the Asgardian mischief-maker will be back for another round against Earth's mightiest heroes in 2015 — but he's not counting on it.
Throughout the week, we'll be presenting the Heroes of the Year, our list of individuals who made a major impact on the comic book movie community in 2012.
Kicking things off is Tom Hiddleston, who starred as the mischievous villain Loki in "Marvel's The Avengers." Honoring the "hero" is guest blogger and Hiddleston fan Kate Miller, one of the masterminds behind Project Wendy.
It may seem counterintuitive to consider a villain in the context of "Heroes of the Year." Yet although "The Avengers" owes much of its success to Joss Whedon’s brilliant screenplay and deft directorial hand, not since Darth Vader in the original "Star Wars" series has there been as charismatic and compelling an antagonistic portrayal as Tom Hiddleston's Loki — and the resulting impact on both the film and the genre is significant.
