24 series finaleTV shows are dropping like flies this week. Yesterday, "Lost" dominated tweeting, and today it was "24."

Movies popped up too, though, with Jock showing off an "Losers" tribute to "Ocean's Eleven" and a couple up webcomics creators speaking up about "The Last Airbender." Of course there were some day-to-day work tweets as well. David Petersen was contemplating a "Fraggle Rock" cover. Jimmy Palmiotti was working patiently with Los Angeles, and Gail Simone was quite content to have seen "MacGruber." Find out how that made her feel below.

Lost series finaleSince the "Lost" series finale concluded Sunday night, Twitter friendships have been placed in jeopardy, "Battlestar Galactica" comparisons have been made, and occasionally satisfaction was experienced. While Brian Michael Bendis was unfollowing spoiler-posters, Ron Marz decided that he was OK with where the episode left everyone. Then there was Dennis Calero, who reached a common ground between the show's failures and successes.

All in all, it was night of fiery words and critical screams in the Twitter Report feed, but I've summed up the big picture in retweets below as best I could. You can read on through to find out where everyone stands, and if you make it to the end I can promise you a glimpse of the most disturbing horse costume you've ever laid eyes on.

Lost"Lost" ends its critically acclaimed run this Sunday night, but that doesn't mean the saga is over forever, right? While it could take some time (see: eternity) for further adventures of Jack Shephard, James "Sawyer" Ford and the other survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 to transpire, there's still an endless amount of stories to tell with the characters and settings we've grown to love over the last six years.

I wouldn't advocate for a continuation of "Lost" in television form, but as a comic book? Well, that's a different matter altogether!

From further exploration of the DHARMA Initiative to the story of the Others, here are some possible "Lost" stories that could work quite well in comic book form. Read More...

LostThe island in "Lost" may have been a hazardous place for anyone who has washed ashore during the show's six-season run on ABC, but such locales are a part of everyday life in comics.

For every developed county with a system of laws, there are handful of remote islands populated by prehistoric beasts or mad scientists in the comic book world. With "Lost" wrapping up its long run on television this weekend, we decided to comb through our comics for a few locales with fatality rates comparable to (or worse than) any DHARMA-approved land.

"Lost" co-creator Damon Lindelof is no stranger to comic books, having penned the recently concluded (and long delayed) "Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk," but it's his former co-writer Brian K. Vaughan that sets off even more bells within the comics community.

A writer on "Lost" from Season 3 through Season 5, Vaughan is also the creator of "Y: The Last Man" and "Ex Machina," among other wildly successful comic books. In fact, Vaughan's comics converged with "Lost" during the show's fifth season when Hugo "Hurley" Reyes enjoyed an issue of "Y: The Last Man" in an airport terminal.

But it's not just Hurley that counts himself among Vaughan's many fans — the actor who portrays him, Jorge Garcia, is a fan as well. Read More...

FROM MOVIES BLOG: With "Predators" being produced by Robert Rodriguez and his Troublemaker Studios, it stands to reason that the film will shoot in Rodriguez's Texas-based studio. But what's a "Predator" movie without lush landscapes and dangerous jungles? Rodriguez seems to understand that necessity, which is why he's booking a trip to Hawaii.

According to Tim Ryan's Reel Hawaii, "Predators" is hoping to film in Hawaii for 18 days starting in October. And do you know what other beloved franchise is filmed in Hawaii? None other than "Lost," ABC's hit television series that concludes with the upcoming sixth season. That's right—the Predators are coming to the Island!

CouriersAnyone who's every been in New York City knows couriers are probably the last people to cross on the Isle Manhattan, but "Lost" writer and creator of ABC Family's completed "Middleman" series Javier Grillo-Marxuach is even more aware than most, having written the film adaptation of Brian Wood ("Local," "DMZ") and Rob G's ("Teenagers From Mars") comic book series "Couriers."

Lost[EDITOR'S NOTE: An ABC spokesperson has confirmed that Brian K. Vaughan has left the "Lost" television series. -RM]

"Lost" appears to be losing one of its many comic book ties as its writing staff gears up for the ABC series' final season. Brian K. Vaughan, who joined "Lost" as the hot writing commodity responsible for "Y: Last the Last Man" and "Ex Machina" and expanded his writing résumé into network television over the show's last several seasons, reportedly will not be contributing at the writers' table for Season 6.
