"Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" already arrived on DVD and Blu-Ray here in the U.S., but it looks like the Autobots are doing a bit of world-traveling these days to promote its release elsewhere. At least, that's what some images from Australia that recently popped up on the 'Net would seem to indicate.

Bumblebee was seen floating around in the general vicinity of the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bride in the gallery of photos you can check out by clicking on the photo above. And while we're not entirely sure why he was out there, the people of Sydney should certainly feel safe knowing that they're safe from the menace of giant robots... for now.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen"Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" hits theaters this week, and just like with every other recent blockbuster, that means a cornucopia of cool "Transformers"-related swag is hitting the market.

As is the growing trend these days, Apple's iPhone and iPod Touch are the recipients of quite a bit of attention from studios, publishers and everyone else with a license to develop "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" products. Recently, IDW Publishing announced that, along with their long history of "Transformers" comics on the print side, they'll also be making a sizeable chunk of these comics available on iPhone, too -- starting with a dozen comics directly related to "Revenge of the Fallen." I could go on and on here about how this clip connects to comics, mentioning all of the great "Transformers" comics published by IDW these days (and various other publishers in the past), or Shia LaBeouf's recent statement regarding rumors that he'll star in the "Y: The Last Man" movie, but is any of that really necessary?

Simply put, this is a video of the "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" star explaining his love for -- and singing -- the Stan Bush song "The Touch" from the 1986 animated "Transformers" movie. That's all you should need to know to appreciate this clip.

Oh, and by the way, if you don't consider "The Touch" to be one of the greatest songs ever written, I don't think we can be friends.

What do you think of Shia's vocal stylings? Is "The Touch" one of the greatest songs ever written, or THE greatest song ever written? Explain your position.

We just received a bunch of new photos from "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" here at Splash Page HQ, and since I'm pretty sure there's no need to introduce my favorite giant robots to all of you out there, let's get straight to the images, shall we?

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

[UPDATE: Clip removed at request of studio.] Giant robots and Megan Fox. Need I say more?

Okay, so there are some small robots in the "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" clip that premiered tonight during the MTV Movie Awards, too -- and there's that guy who played the taxi driver in "Constantine." (I kid, I kid.) Seriously, though, Fox and Shia LaBeouf might get the top billing on Michael Bay's upcoming sequel to "Transformers," but those of us lining up for the giant robots (and maybe for Fox) won't be disappointed by the new footage that debuted tonight.

Is that Ravage? And what about the robotic fly -- an Insecticon, perhaps? We're inching ever closer to seeing the Dinobots, folks -- so keep hope alive!

Let's see your thoughts on the new clip down in the comment section, okay?

FROM MTV MOVIES: On Sunday, at the MTV Movie Awards, invited guests include Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox and director Michael Bay. But even those high-wattage talents might not be the most exciting "Transformers" star you'll see this weekend.

"He is the king bee," LaBeouf told us recently as he discussed The Fallen, unveiling him to "Transformers" fans for the first time anywhere. "He's the patriarchal figure, he's the main dude. He's what all of this came from."

Megan FoxNobody's perfect. Just as Megan Fox was starting to win the hearts of every geek on Earth with roles in three comic book-rooted film franchises, she had to go and badmouth DC Comics royalty.

Wonder Woman is a lame superhero,” Fox said in an interview with Times Online, “She flies around in her invisible jet and her weaponry is a lasso that makes you tell the truth. I just don’t get it. Somebody has a big challenge on their hands whoever takes that role but I don’t want to do it.” Read More...
